 Mathematics Garden @ School

There exist a mathematics garden in GGHSS Neyyatinkara. It makes students familiar with geometric shapes and numbers. It is the duty of both teachers and students to protect and preserve mathematics garden.

 Yoga Day Celebration

Yoga day was celebrated on GGHSS Neyyatinkara om 21st June 2022. The programme was started at 10 am. The principal of the school inaugurated the programme. Yoga is important for making mind refreshed, to improve concentration and to reduce stress.

Reading day celebration at GGHSS Neyyatinkara

 Reading Day Celebration

Reading day was celebrated in GGHSS Neyyatinkara on 20th June 2022. The programme was started at 9.30 am. The programme was inaugurated by Sri. Velappan Nair sir. He is the principal of Rachana Bhasha Padana Kendram. He gave a thoughtful speech on the importance of reading habit among students.

First week of Teaching practice

 First week of Teaching Practice

Second phase of teaching practice was started on 14th June 2022. I got 8 C class for teaching mathematics. I started chapter 1 named equal Triangles. I used activity cards, models and charts to make the class interesting. By first week I took only a little portion of the syllabus.

Physical Education

There exist a huge school ground in GGHSS Neyyatinkara. Every students are allowed to play in there twice a week. It is important to make the students physically strong too.

2nd phase of our teaching practice was started on 14th June 2022. I opted GGHSS Neyyatinkara for teaching practice. I felt so happy to see all of them again.

As a part of field visit 2k22, I got an opportunity to participate in planting plants in the college campus.

Trees greatly contribute to their environment by providing oxygen, supporting wildlife, improving air quality, conserving water, preserving soil, and climate amelioration.
